Over a year ago, I was sent this e-mail:
Hi
These are the wedding dresses I'm deciding between. Thought you might like to see them. I was going to get an idea with mum then go back with you lib and elia to decide but they are samples so think I'll need to decide and buy one early next week in case they sell.

Let me know what you think if you get chance to look at this.

I kindly asked the people of Facebook for answers on how to respond. I copied and pasted the best one and sent it on its merry way:
Dear Jo Jo
I'm strangely excited by this idea. I've not spoken to Lib or Ella before, but the thought of sitting through a few hours of watching brides-to-be trying on dresses makes me all tingly in my trouser parts. That you think I'm responsible enough to help you, out fills me with pride. Don't worry about all the sex offenders register stuff... that's all behind me now.
Can we arrange a time to meet at these shops?
I can't really do Tuesdays or Thursdays. Thursday is benefit day and I need to buy my drink for the week and on Tuesdays I meet the girls from the over 60s waterobics... well, I say meet... I sit in the observation gallery with my iPhone, they only chase me out if the flash goes off accidentally. I really need to remember to set it to off.
Anyway, can't wait to see these dresses, keep in touch.

Strangely, I never received a response.
